1. Create eye catching titles
2. Include eye catching pictures
3. Make your content short and easy to read
4. Don't make pages dead-ends
5. Don't be a link grinch — link generously to others
6. Be topical — write about time-sensitive or trendy information
7. Create content that solves someone's problem
8. Use buttons and widgets to encourage voting, but not too many
9. Minimize advertising, because links are more important
10. Everyone loves lists!
