Support comes in many forms here at Raven, so I wanted to take a quick moment to point out all of the ways you can get in touch with us, and also point you in the right direction so you can get an answer to your question as quickly as possible.
How on earth do I use this thing? OR How do I _______ ?
Those are always the easiest questions to answer, and you can ask us in a variety of ways. If you have something quick to ask, we’re always easy to find on Twitter. I’m @RavenAlison, and my partner ...

When I first came to Sitening, the company that built Raven, I had a lot of ideas — none of which included the creation of a Web based SaaS. Instead, I focused on providing client services, like Web Design, Software Development, Information Architecture and Online Marketing.
But soon I wanted to build an automated tool that would help me with sales. My idea was to create a parser that would analyze any Web page, and then provide a score between zero and 100, along with a results report card. For me, it was the original Website Grader, and we called it the ...

We saw amazing growth in the second half of 2009. More users meant more usability and feature requests, and significantly more usage of our software. We chose to delay several new features to focus on making the code behind Raven run and scale better. We’ve also been doing a countless number of minor updates to the tools, many of which you probably haven’t even noticed (unless you were the one who requested it.) We’re winding down our big maintenance and software tweaking push, and will soon start rolling out some significant new features.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to our growth, ...

Oh, PubCon Vegas. We at Raven had a great time hanging out with friends and meeting with new friends. Although my laundry basket faintly smells like the Breeze Bar (coconut, vanilla, cigarette smoke… basically your crazy Aunt’s sedan), I am officially unpacked, and by this weekend I should be back on Central Time Zone. The Raven team posed for lots of pictures. We had to model that fantastic PubCon t-shirt somehow. Let’s all take a walk down memory lane to last weekend, and maybe this will actually help some people remember what happened at PubCon ...

Internet marketing campaigns can have several events associated with them. For example, a campaign may include email newsletters, link building efforts, press releases, content distribution, and much more. It’s hard to keep up with so many events, and even harder to include those events in reports. That’s why we created the new Event Manager.
The Event Manager allows you to record any type of event related to your website’s campaign. The event(s) are then displayed on graphs, like the Google Analytics Daily Visits view in Raven.
You can also create branded PDF reports with event details.
Watch the video to see the Event ...

Raven has a lot of features, but that’s proven to be a double-edged sword. While the system is robust, it can also be difficult for new users to get started quickly. That’s a problem we’re very concerned about, because we want the user experience to be phenomenal from the beginning.
Having user manuals and tutorials are good, but most people want to dive into the software. And let’s face it, nobody wants to read, they just want to go! That requires a user interface that is intuitive and simple. We’ve taken our first major step at addressing that need by developing ...

We’re testing out a new support feature within Raven: live chat. If you’re logged into your account, underneath the resources drop down is an option for live chat. If one of us is available (we’re in the process of coming up with a schedule), the green light will be on and you can initiate a chat with us, and we’re more than happy to give you a hand with whatever you may need. Even if you just want to give us some feedback, we’re always happy to hear it.
We hope this is just another helpful way to have your ...

In the coming months, we’ll be releasing new management and research tools to help Internet Marketers better manage their website campaigns. The Website Dashboard will play a significant role in those changes, and it sets the stage for introducing new features.
We’re launching the Dashboard with a new Keyword Manager and Competitor Manager.
The Keyword Manager allows you to add and manage keywords related to your website’s campaign.
In addition, the Keyword Manager displays AdWords statistics and Link Manager data, allows you to add keywords to the SERP Tracker and also makes it easy to research related keywords in the new Research Assistant.
In ...
